She received the 2024 Sarah Brown Boyden Award in the Arts for her coverage of an activist’s efforts to help families in a disinvested neighborhood keep their homes.
Her words and images have appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Reader, South Side Weekly, A.V. Club, VICE, USA TODAY and The New York Times. She is a former Report For America corps member.
